Annual Mawlid Al - Nabi ๏ทบ: September 14, 2024

We are delighted to invite you to our Annual Mawlid Al-Nabi ๏ทบ celebration on Saturday, September 14, at 7:30 PM.

Join us as we honor the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ.

We are pleased to announce that Shaykh Mohamed Abbas, a distinguished Religious Affairs Advisor, Quranic Scholar, and International Nasheed Artist, will be our special guest for the evening.

The event will include a family quiz and conclude with a dinner.

Please note, if your child is 5 years old or older and is interested in participating in a group Nasheed for this special occasion, please sign up below. We will include you in our WhatsApp group. further details and updates.

Weekly Tajweed & Quran Classes

The Prophet (๏ทบ) said, "The best among you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." (Bukhari)

We are excited to announce our Tajweed and Quran Classes starting September 3, 2024, for ages 5 and up.

Class Schedule:

- Days: Every Tuesday & Thursday

- Time: 5:00 - 6:00 PM

We will teach:

- Correct Arabic Pronunciation

- Rules of Tajweed

- Perfection of Recitation

- Quran Memorization

We teach students from beginner to advanced levels.

Job Opportunity: Security Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced professional to join and lead our security team at Madina Institute. The position requires 8-10 hours of work per week on ground plus a few hours of flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day security operations.

- Schedule police officers, and monitor their performance.

- Maintain camera surveillance system.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements.

- โ Build relationships with law enforcement agencies.

Requirements:

- Availability during Jummah prayers, Sunday School, and evening events

- High school diploma (associate's/bachelor's degree preferred)

- Basic knowledge of security protocols plus 1-3 years of experience in the security field (more training will be provided)

- Must have a valid gun license and gun training

- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently

"Love Thy Neighbor" is an annual interfaith service that unites central Arkansas faith communities for an evening of music, shared wisdom, and reflection. This yearโ€™s theme, "Sharing the Light," encourages participants to come together in challenging times to share the light of hope and then carry it out into the world.

Speakers from various religious backgrounds will share stories, poems, and prayers of hope. Local musicians will provide moments of quiet reflection and collective harmony. The Interfaith Food Festival will follow the service, featuring delicious vegetarian dishes.
